Over the past month Dorso and Son has been very busy getting ready for the upcoming spring season. The crew has managed to stay busy even with the lack of snow this winter. The new shop has made it very easy and convenient for us to stay on top of routine maintenance. All our mowers and any other equipment is ready to take on the tough Maine spring. Dorso and Son took the time to completely go through and paint all of our mowers so that they are not only running at the top but look brand new as well.
The past week the crew has been out and about sweeping parking lots and fixing any plow damage from the winter to get a jump start for the spring work. We are also getting a jump on building new mulch beds and installing cobblestone. This is a perfect time of year to get those spring time projects started and finished before the mowing season is underway.
However, the bright sunny skies and the warm 50 degree days soon came to a stop when a typical spring time snow rolled into town. The Dorso and Son crew was prepared with the fleet of trucks ready to roll. Just like every other Maine winter this one was very unpredictable and the crew has shown once again that they can handle whatever is thrown their way. This upcoming week there is a chance of snow and/or freezing rain, so keep a watch for the Dorso and Son crew out and about. Stay tuned for next week’s post and see what the crew is up to.
Thank you for reading! Keep a look out for our next Dorso and Son Post!
